I bought this car in March of 2009 and it was my first third gen. I've wanted one my whole life and finally got one. I searched everywhere and couldn't find one under $10,000 and finally found one 2 hrs away for $1500. The guy told me it just needed a new carburetor. Turns out the engine was blown, but it was still in decent shape and the tranny was in perfect condition. Here are some pics.

 

After a year of hard work and lots of money I had a 350 dropped in, did the interior, and got a new hood.

I've already dropped a 350 SBC in there. The pic of that is my avatar pic. It's bored out, balanced, comp cam, roller rockers, edelbrock performer intake, summit headers (subject to change to hedman), holley street avenger 650 carb, but I've redone the interior to spruce it up. I've put a WS6 style ram air hood on it and right now I'm sanding it down and putting a good coat of primer on it. I'll post more pics as soon as I can.

 

Took these with my phone. My new camera must be too high tech or something. Anyways, here is my new engine. So far it has 18 miles on it since the re-build.

 

I just realized I probably should've posted this under members firebird's instead of restoration. Is there a way to move it?

 

Fixed some dents, fixed some NASTY rust hole's. Sanded it. 1 coat of primer. Sanding it again. Here are some pics so far.

 

Interior work. Bad pics sorry, I'll have to take other ones as soon as I get rid of this 100% limo blue tape window tint.
