hmm should i do this?
ok i removed the decal and contact spray that i sprayed on top of the decal...because it made the decal curl together when it got hot. so now i'm wondering what to do...get a new decal and put it on the rear window (my mom likes that idea) or not have a decal at all cuz i dont think i can keep the decal on the cover...i could get someone to airbursh the bird on the cover but thats a lot of money so what do you all think? should i get this decal below on my rear window? (sample pic below, not my car)
let me know what you all think. to see pics of my car go to my cardomain site
thanks!

Please dont
I think we all know my position on decals. Especially large ones on windows. Kinda tacky and *****!!! Just my $1.02's opinion. Keep it real and go stealth we dont have to brag the exhaust and taillights do that for us!!!
Ya know I always thought a decal on the rear window would be cool until I saw that picture.. Reminds me too much of Smokey and the Bandit.. Makes the car look like a redneckmobile.. Add some rust and a backfire and you'd be good to go! Besides that, even if you do get one, make sure it's right.. Look at that decal in the picture you posted and tell me what's wrong with it.. It's way out of proportion.. The wings are too wide and they don't extend high enough.. Compare it to the real emblem below the keyhole and you'll see what I mean.

ok, don't take this as a racial thing, i just have to go off on a little rant...just about every mexican american in my town (i'm even being politically correct for once) has two crowns in their back window with old english writing across the top and either a big *** mexican flag sticker, window tint in red white and green, or some kinda huge gawdy sticker in their back windows. like i give a flying **** that they have a geo prizm, I mean, i'm sure there are kids in town that gawk at their bad *** prizm and are glad that it says prizm in the back window so they know what kinda pimp car it is so they can aspire to have one when they grow up...
bottom line is the stickers all over are gay. unless your running as a pro drag or circle track driver, stickers and decals or whatever you want to call them should be limited to racing stripes and the bird graphic for trans ams...but thats just my outlook on it...
soulrev, i think that bird is pretty much proportionate, don't forget that your looking at it from like a 30 degree angle

Im not one for stickers or decals either, However when done tastefully a sticker can add a homey feel to the car its like putting up MetallicA posters in your bedroom:rockon:
