Looking to see if anyone would be interested in getting a rather large group of cars out for spring and start the season off right,

What better than a full day of cruising right, There are alot of us in Il and Ia so why not meet on the border?

I am informed that there is a 12 acre travel center about 20- miles into Ia on interstate 80 that we should have no problem invading and having a large turn out


Anyone ? Im not sure about How far this would be for people in IA Though it would be roughly a 2 hour drive from the chicagoland area, Though we can stop and pick people up along the route

As well just a side note , I would plan on driving 70-75 on cruise control, if we have a large enough group of F bodys you can be sure that State would notice and the word would be out So if anyone would feel like driving like an please feel free to drive ahead and flush the cops out

 

I would be down for that, set a date and I'll be there. If we could get a group to start out in Morris that would be perfect meet up place for me but meeting up in the Ottawa area wouldnt kill me. I got a buddy with a 2nd-gen Firebird who would probably love to join us.

 

I'd love to join up for a cruise if my work schedule allows it. I'm only about 40 minutes from the quad cities so it wouldn't be difficult at all for me to make it if I'm not scheduled at work. I wouldn't put me down as a definite but I'll make it if I can.

Not many third gens in my area, at least that I know about, would be great to see more then 2 at the same place lol (I always park next to one when I see it... birds of a feather and all that... pun intended).

How would everyone be interested in having other groups of cars come out?

 

You got to set a more definite date if you want more commitment, but I think we should keep it f-body only.

 

That is proly what I will do, I think morris I 80 to rt 71 through starved rock then 251 back up to 80 Then if we get some Ia ppl in maybe they can set up a route from there side, I would have no problem printing off routes and posting them , Ill get working on it tonight Ill make it a nifba.com spring cruise



Any other roads along I80 that would be good to cruise through?
