anybody know where theres a nearby bracket racing track in Orange County, NY? The nearest I've been to/know of is in Albany. I've also been to Englishtown a couple of times.

Also, any good muscle car shows? I've been to a crappy show in Middletown that was mostly ri ce, thats it in the immediate area

Bear Mountain shows are limited to 1985 and older this year. I guess if your car is too new you park with the other folks.
It's a pretty cool place to hang out anyway. I took my Charger a few times last year.

OCC store is a OK place to spend a hour or so.

Here's a question, an 84-85 vette would be allowed but not an 86-96 when it's more or less the same car? Or how about an 82-85 thirdgen but not an 86-92? And 86-87 Grand Nationals look just like 82-85?

I've had these arguments with car show organizers more times than I'd like to admit, and what it comes down to is they are trying to keep the imports out(that was the main reason I got from every organizer I've delt with so far).

Oops.. sorry, didn't check back in.

Thanks This year I took the stripe off and am running with just the badges for the stripe delete car it is tho. well... if I ever get done with the 5 speed conversion that is. Still waiting shifter.

I spent my holiday weekend Sunday joyriding with the ol' lady ... somehow ended up in Montgomery. Hacked this outta a couple picks. Was yapping with some bikers and such. Nice day for a ride with the T's out - as long as I kept it over 55 when I ran thru rain showers.

As for the '85 or older rule at Bear Mountain... hey... it's not my gig. I'm sure there will be people trying to get in, and people getting pissed either way.
