Ya, I think HSR, 195 heads and that cam should be a good combo to 62-6300...you may be hitting the limits of factory roller lifters...going to need some tune/chip work to make it right, so keep a close eye on the AF ratio while putting you foot in it so you don't melt anything. Should be thinking about stepping up to bigger injectors to feed the beast....yin vs yang...and will be a must for someone to tune for idle as well.

, no but ya you might have to step it up some with some aftermarket hydro lifters, if i were you id actually get a solid cam but for each their own. Supreme Member

Oh boy let the smack talkin' begin.
I'm not sure who's going to be faster.
At the track? My guess is probably Travis after the heads/cam.
Eric has the power if he can learn to shift/launch/acheive traction.
hoo rah for automatic shifting.

I totally agree. I think Travis will smoke you Eric, don't dis on his heads so much. The specs are great and from the info on their website they seem like a sweet company.

ya theyre pretty good....dont like saying damn near better than AFRs tho just cuz well...i have them
, no but theyre right up there side by side. Only thing is if i remember correctly canfield doesnt flow theirs with any type of headers on there so the exhaust side is a little missleading. Then again i could be wrong its been a while since i looked at purchasing heads. Member

Eric and I will team up on Travis to take him out at the track!
Since our combo's are close, we will work on launching techniques.
bring on those heads and non tpi combo's......
oh yeah, forgot...Eric no longer runs a tpi.

haha
Dont worry, I'll be using my stock casting the rest of the motor's life. Ported they flow 275 cfm at about 600 lift. I'll be pushing them to about 550 with the cam I want, they'll flow about 268ish
So no cool/expensive heads for me.
The funny thing is.. the guy at the machine shop told me to dump my "sh*tty" stockers and put on some edelbrocks ROFL

Not mine, however that's what pretty much all the flow charts for these heads ported by Lloyd Elliot look like - I.E. mine will be pretty close to that.

2.05/1.60 valves
208 cc intake port
Stock intake port size is 195ish, iirc. I might be wrong.
Alot of people doubt the potential of these heads, but they flow NICE when they're cleaned up. His whole package which includes a cam with these heads is $1850.. and gives you about 430 RWHP with exhaust, intake, and tuning. I'm going to be running those heads, with a smaller cam, which normally produces about 380 RWHP with heads that only flow about 255 (lighter ported LT1s).
In stock form they're alot better than stock L98s, but nothing spectacular:
LIFT/CFM-INTAKE
.100-61.2
.200-120.1
.300-174.9
.400-200.9
.500-212.4
.600-202.9
LIFT/CFM-EXAUST
.100-46.1
.200-93.6
.300-123.5
.400-141.2
.500-155.2
.600-160.0
