holy crap its one thing after another!!
i leave school at around 8pm sun coming down. take off and notice my lights dimming turns out my damn alternator went. schools about 12 miles from home. i make it home but with no lights, car about to die, and not stopping at a couple stop signs. 2nd alternator since january.

i had the same problem with my 91 rs, i went through all the possible scenerios and could not find anything wrong with it, finally i busted out the book and followed the diagram back to a fuse that goes in the fan slot (there was no fuse) so i put one in there and it never failed again.
i know this is probably not it but you could check!

i just realized, last time i changed the alternator, (couple months ago) i didnt get the high output one from delco, i got the low output one
that would explain why all my damn lights were so low and turn signal so slow at night. not enough juice... now my car is bright as all hell.

78 amp, i think 105 would be overkill. its already charging 13-14v with lights and accesories on as i drive

yeah my fan is wired to be on the whole time, gotta figure out how to change that back
