Re: attn: Daniel U

I love the wheels. I'm thinking about those for my RS. What do you have, 17x9.5 / 17x11? I was looking at the eBay set, except I was planning on 17x9.5 all around with 275/40 rubber. The fronts worry me because my stock 245/50/16s rub (I do have slight fender damage on both sides) and they are so damn close to the tie rods I don't see how anything bigger WONT hit.

Are those aftermarket front clip pieces?

I really want to meet up with some of you fellow norcal thirdgenners sometime. I don't know anybody who drives one...nobody understands! :-)

Re: attn: Daniel U

it is 9.5/11" combo, I run 255's on my front wheels. They are new OEM front peices. the bumper and gfx is GM, the fenders are some other brand, paddox.

Re: attn: Daniel U

Any trouble getting the fenders to fit? The front of my car is beat to hell, I need a hood, 2 fenders, bumper, gfx, as well as a bunch of stuff 'behind the scenes" like headlight bar and various brackets and bolts etc. I'm thinking of just trying to find a 91-92 V6 parts car with a clean front clip to strip then part the rest out, or just install my bad stuff and re-sell.

Re: attn: Daniel U

The hard part about the fenders is making it bolt to the pinchweld of the car under the door, they were all jacked up and bent from either being used as a jack point or something...

Car looks awesome in person too

I would have gone with 315s but the wheel / tire sticking out thing is something I can't have.

Re: attn: Daniel U

Looks good Travis. I think you're going to have to beat the crap out of your inner rear fenderwells to keep those from rubbing while turning or launching.

Re: attn: Daniel U

Yep, those wheels look great. they still keep the polished inner lip, or whatever it's called and match the front sheeeet metal! IMO these cars look good with centers recessed inwards, rather than the flat face european look style.
I went to a wheel store to look at a couple sets of rims for my IROC; had spotted an ad for an Earnhardt Jr. black & aluminum wheel; and was surprised to see lot's of black rims. I guess they're the hot new thing. But they absolutely look great on your red rocket hot wheel. I is really happy for you. Hope you keep feeling better. Nitro Nicky
