Anyone into RC cars?
I know a few of us are into them. So i thought i would see who has them, and who still plays with them.
I sometimes go to busse woods on sundays to watch bill and some others jump and break stuff. We also were doing some on-roading friday nights.
Anyone?
I currently have an HPI Savage, a traxxas stampede, and an older OFNA on road car.

I had a XXXT as well, wasn't a MF edition though. However I had a Novak 5.5R brushless system in it. Nice n' quick.
However it tumbled over a hill while bashing and dissapeared. Conveniently two workers from the local golf course strolled by and "didn't" see it.
Lousy bastiges.
BTW, I'm typing this from my new "old" home theater Mac. 13" black and white TV and I'm on my couch typing. F'n sweet.
*ignore 13" TV, tim is having fun with his godly Mod powers.

Re: Anyone into RC cars?
I had a XXX-NT for a while that I shoved an OS .18CV-RX in. That thing was a blast to drive on the street until the tires went bald (quickly!). I couldn't make it a full lap around Leisure Hours. It was way too quick on that small track for me to control.
I've been in the process of tearing apart and rebuilding an HPI Savage that I bought used. Was in terrible condition (far worse than advertised), so I've got a decent amount more time/money into it than I was expecting to have. Should be running as soon as I set the gear mesh and feel like tuning in the servos. Only upgrades on that thing are FLM TVP's, dual-disc brake kit, and removal of 4 of the shocks/springs.
Other than that...
Traxxas Electric 4Tec - Mamba 5700 brushless and a stupid NiMH pack
Traxxas Electric Stampede - Too many mods to list (but doesn't currently move)
HPI Nitro RS4 - OS .18 needs clutch parts still...will probably be selling soon
Tamiya Thunder Blitz - insanely fun 4wd car for the $20 I spent on it, and that's the stock motor :P

But where? I admit, I don't mind Bussewoods, but thats my back yard, I'm up for bashing in other places as well.
BTW, they make a Thirdgen Iroc body for RC touring cars.

Used to have:
Losi JRX JRX-2 JRX-T
Associated RC10 RC10T and the little RC10 street racer that did over 100mph.
Been out for years though. Now I just fly RC planes. Much more damage involved in a crash.

What radios are all of you running? I know a handful of us have Spektrums so there's no interference with other channels.
