I'm open to suggestions, in Cecil Co (need a place large enough for a car show and vendors), Baltimore area, or very southern PA.

place to happen

Mark, Maybe this aint the place for me to post but;
1) Maybe you should take another quick poll for location(you cant please everyone).
2) You are going farther north which makes it harder for the guys coming from the deep south,(you are worried about distance)
3) Pick 3 gen. areas and take a poll and go with the majority, that IS the best you can do, and like you said, you have to gwet a date in stone somewhere or it is not even going to happen.
These places book fast. Just my .02

Fly, you're on the right track, I've seen that site before, I was hoping those that lived near it could give me more feedback on it....

we'll need enough room to park about 200 cars for the show, allow several vendors to show up.

that Patapasco is about 20 mins from a race track I know of...

Where abouts in MD is this planned for. Is it the more northern part, or is it Balitmore area, or South, or just where ever we can find a large enough park right now?

I am not to familiar with the states, I have a road atlas so I can find my way aroud if I am given a specific place.

Hey now..... Found this on the site for the Elk Neck State Park:

Rifle Range - Open Tuesday-Sunday, 9 a.m. to sunset in season. Permit required and available at the park ($50/season $10/day).

That's what I'm talkin bout ..... Prolly keep it simple and go with the Beretta 92FS if I make it .

I am not sure what kind of area is needed, but you can try Mason Dixon dragway. As a former employee, I can tell you there should be enough room.
email the operaor : dragway1@aol.com

just an idea.
