Thought I'd throw this up, just so people have an idea where people are coming from, this isn't exact count but fairly accurate as of now.

You can put me in for a tentative. It all depends on what I can get done with over the winter, so as not to have to go to work that weekend.
BTW, thats one for MI

i'm the only one representing maine. that's kinda cool, but i've seen 2 irocs around here that are both blue with white racing stripes. one car has a single stripe and the other has 2. i would ask them to come, but the last time i saw the guy with the two striped iroc was last summer and the other guy i've only seen once or twice. both are very sweet.
Looks like a big turnout is expected......hopefully most of them can make it...
I don't see how some people are flying to this thing that are in the U.S.
That would be torture to see all these cars and not have yours there, although i understand the bad gas mileage excuse.......

3,000 miles?!?!?! Each way? ouch.
6,000 / ~17mpg = ~352gallons of gas
353gallons @ about $1.70/gallon = ~$600 usd for gas expenses alone!!
Your nuts man. Thats alot of money to come to nationals. You might be better off having the car shipped there! *don't foget to pack lots of freeze dried food. That way you can hide in the car.*

Wasn't quite sure what kind of mileage I'd be getting. I've got the 350 so I just underestimated. I've got a seperate account going for gas. I figure it'll take about $200 for a round trip with toll's from Chicago to Maryland.

Bikertrash, 180 is an estimate, a few of those won't have a 3rd gen, just a couple though. Course I figure on a lot not showing too, but I think as time goes on 200 shouldn't be too hard.
last time i put something together here in michigan we had over 60 cars that had written me stating they would be there for sure; i planned a couple months in advance to give everyone plenty of time and even one week prior i had the same amount of people. come game time only 20 showed?
you have people coming from all over the country to this thing or so they say, you'll have alot of upset people if your 200 becomes 20 cars sitting in a dust parking lot.

the money for gas shouldnt be a problem for me.. im expecting an insurance check for about $60k soon (use money to finish rebuilding the car and for the road trip
)..
the main reason im wanting to go, is to see so many thirdgens w/ owners that actually car about there cars.. there are TONS of them around here (within 2 blocks of my house there are 3 IROCs and 4 SC/RSs), but most are the typical POS 80's cars.. i tried to start a club, but NO ONE showed up to ANYTHING!! oh well..

My car will look like a POS even by the time June rolls around. Too much to do, not enough cash to do it with, and no time to spend it. I'll probalby still be missing one of my fog lights, and the underbody part of the nose gfx is cracked. All of it can be seen in the link you'll find in my sig. This new engine is costing me alot of money. Money originally intended to fix up some of the cars glaring defects.

yah true, then again, I know of at least 25 from MD will be there for sure, pretty much, and I'm quite confident there will be a ton from NJ and VA there, so either way, it will be a lot of cars. I realize some that are farther away there is a higher chance of them not showing.
