New best, Finally in the 8's!

Car has a tendancy to break rear gears, so soft roll out's are in order for now. The car does a nice power wheelie about 30-40' out when mashed to the floor. This motor combo is setup for Vortech Extreme Street and Limited street where low 8's are in order to be competitive. I also am running at 3500# with me in it. Not bad for a small bloch Chevy!

60' 1.825
330' 4.149
1/8 6.022
mph 132.26
1000 7.618
1/4 8.968
mph 167.07

Yea, unless you, you are a passenger, and you dont mind a big ol' intercooler behind your knee caps. I really don't think I would mind!

you ever run with ORSCA? Outlawracing.com They have class called Limited Street. But it's 1/8th mile and you gotta be 4.90's 5.0's to be competitive.

Here's one of the Limited Street cars http://www.limitedstreet.com/06videos/pc318/reese1.wmv

132 mph is strokin to only be going 6.0's. put a 9" in that thing and let it rip. here's some highlights of the last outlaw race. It has Outlaw 10.5, Limited Street, Radial EZ street, and some 6.0 heads up racing. Also Pro Mod, but you'll be able to tell those cars, they were all blower motors. All the Outlaw classes are ran on 10.5" wide tires.

awesome man!

i gotta show this to my younger brother... he thinks all 3rdgens are junk and that modding anything OTHER than an LS1 is a waste of time (btw- he drives a stock 01' T/A). how cool is this that you have a 8sec 3rdgen on a extremely soft 60ft AND youre probably only a couple minutes away from me!!!

ever run at Cecil?
