Car: 1991 camaro rs
Engine: twin turbo 406
Transmission: th400 w/brake 4400 stall
Axle/Gears: 3.42s
hypothetical 1/4 mile
i just recently bought my old camaro back, i came from having an awd talon that never ran. it was built, bored and stroked. im not new to chevys but ive never had one really set up without a transbrake.
i have 4.10 gears, built 700r4, 2500 stall, 355, 9.5 compression, gm performance vortec heads, magnum 1.52 rockers, dual plane intake, 600cfm carb and im using a howards custom ground .470/.470 lift cam.
just curious what kind of times i could run. built for daily driving as it is my daily. tires are a 195 dr out back

glad to hear, i was hoping for 12.50s but i would be happy with high 12s. i also have a nos cheater system that i will spray at the track. it is a 180hp shot. im hoping with that i will be in the 11s.

If you can't hit 11's with a 180 shot something is wrong lol. I'd imagine a relatively stock TPI 350 could come damn close to that.

i was hoping my goals were realistic, i will only be using a 600cfm carb, the block and rotating assembly is still at the machine shop, i am thinking that it will need a 670 though. i will be using a aem wideband o2 to tune the car 10million times faster.
also forgot to mention that i have an auburn gear posi unit and hedman longtubes

My car did 12.7 at 111mph with a 2.2 60ft. 355 9:5, RHS heads that flowed 217cfm, stealth ram and .477/.480 224/231 cam. I was also running a 700R4 with 2800rpm converter and 3.42's torsen posi. Tires were 235 cooper cobras and I spun a good amount in first. The tune was decent, I have no doubt with a good set tires that car would have ran 12.5's all day.

Realistically, expect mid to low 13's with a decent tire. 12's is possible with some good air and good luck, but we're basing this all off of a motor setup. You've made no mention of suspension.

There's just no way you'll run any decent times on a 195 tire, and the 4.10 gears wont be helping you any either.
Realistically, expect mid to low 13's with a decent tire. 12's is possible with some good air and good luck, but we're basing this all off of a motor setup. You've made no mention of suspension.
