Problem with my times? Take a look...

Okay, I was very unpleased with my mph for my car since it barely moved but this timeslip I have was my BEST run and I didn't come close to a low 2.1 60ft. Could that be why I ran a horrible 14.4 @ 96 mph again?

6.044 - 330ft
9.283 - 1/8 ET

Your 60 foot time has nearly nothing to do with MPH. This just means you don't have that much more HP than Before your mods. Sometimes alot of money won't get you much, sometimes you get alot for nothing. You may have increased your mid-range torque and not your top end HP. This would be evident by a better E.T. and the same MPH. This would explain your mods and the car feeling faster but realitively no change in top end.

Also, are you running the stock air filter box?

Your 60 ft decides your ET. Your MPH is based on horsepower. It is possible to get a better ET with little or no change to MPH. You should try running some sort of cold air box or ram air. This will help MPH. The factory air box is your restrictor plate. You may also have low mid-range torque which might hurt your ET. Another reason your ET might not change is your driving style. With a stick your 60 ft might wander all over the place but the car will only run what it runs.
The stock air filter box crosses the radiator. The radiator then warms the incoming air. This helps cold starting but hurts performance.

In response to your original question, If your 60' time was the same as the 2.062 you had on your previous best run in your sig (14.4 @ 94), you should have been in the low 14.20's MAYBE a high 14.teen Your mods have netted you 2 mph but lack of traction has kept you at the same speed. You 60' time being a tenth slower will typically cost you 2 - 2.5 slower in the 1/4, but as Nicmike85 said, it won't effect MPH much at all. The 2 mph gain slows you've made progress, so don't get discouraged, you are just going to have to find a way to the hook up, and you'll see a difference in ET. What kind of tires are you running and at what air pressure are you running them??

I'm running extreme ****ty Goodyear H's at like 26 psi and 32 psi in front on track day. I just thought because my friend ran a 14.2 @ 98 mph that I would run a 98 mph in order to get that quick. I know it doesnt affect mph, and I know my 60' determines my ET.

Sounds to me like the exaust mods took a little torque and gave a little horsepower. Don't expect to gain alot with any mods. It usually takes alot to make a noticable difference. What size headers and exaust pipe did you install?

No I think it gave torque too, because I believe my ET was because of my ****ty 2.16 60ft, before I ran a 2.06 60 ft.
