The 10 spoke SS Rims.
Oh hell yeah, thats what i'm going to purchase the third week of January when I get some money. Plus I will get the 2in spacers that are recomened on

it say that they should fit the wheels easily, unless you have some other recomendations.

I was looking thru some of the pics on the site, and damn, they look good.

Shipping will likely be FedEx, about $80 per wheel and tire. I think the Ronal 17's are better, both in price and appearance.

Yes, the Z06 wheels are very nice ... on a Corvette...

Some Weld and other race wheels have the same aggressive look as the Ronals. Most of the "delicate" designs like the Z06's and import wheels have more "beauty" than "brute." IMO the 3rd Gen style is hard-core brute and should follow the "Mad Max" in-your-face personality, not try to be a beauty queen like the Corvette [as quick and muscular as she may be...]. I've seen Corvette wheels on 3rd Gens and I didn't like the look or spacers.

OK, my psycho-babble comes to this -- design of 3rd Gens make them one of the best "he" cars and not a "she" car or even "it" cars like most i m p o r t racers. 3rd Gens are at their best emphasized with bare-knuckle leather stud visual styles.

The Ronal 17s can be purchased with tires for about $1,600. The design is an extension of the original style with a deep rim, which compliments the appearance of the Camaro [and of course, the Fire Hawk].

Last time I was gonna buy some Zo6 rims off ebay and the guy said shipping would be about $40 a wheel. Or was that $60...**** I dont remember. Though I know shipping was around $200

I was trying to get rid of my SS rims before so I could get some 2000+ SS rims or some Zo6 rims. Though I found no buyers and just kept mine already.

Thanks. I'm not really sure about them either. I did a little research on them, everything I have read seems to be good. I don't know.

I guess I can ask Gary how many he has left. And get those instead. I'll find out.

The price is right, shipping will be a lot more than the quoted $40 per wheel mainland delivery, and apparently the wheels are not GM -- built to "O.E.M. Specification" is what the ad says.

So my concern would be about who is the manufacturer? 3rd world manufacturing by the cheapest bidder doesn't fill me with a lot of confidence, especially when my life and ride are at stake.

If the contact went to a reputable wheel manufacturer, the quality will be more than skin-deep. If not, I'd look for the real deal.

Thats a good point. I will ask them, but the seem pretty reputable.
This is http://feedback.ebay.com/ebaymotors/...=STRK:MEWA:SID
7250 feedbacks.

Then i'll need to get them re-mounted and balanced.

OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. Essentially it means that they're made by the same manufacturer who did the originals for GM.

Not the same -- says "built to O.E.M. Specification," which means only that the part was supposedly manufactured to a certain standard. For example, you or I could get the OEM specs for a Camaro door handle, have them produced by cheap labor in Africa, and then sold here cheaper than the actual GM OEM part. Oh, and because the "OEM" specs might not include the formula for the metals, I could make a lot more profit by using the cheapest materials possible, warehouse them in my garage and sell them on the internet.

This is all ok, IF there is a warranty against breakage or manfacturing defects such as being out-of-round; and the buyer understands they probably won't last very long without flaking, pitting, peeling or cracking.

Personally, I would not buy "brand X" wheels, brakes, suspension, bearings or anything else that my life depends on.

This is especially true over the internet, where it is just about impossible to have any leverage over a seller should problems develop.

Cheap, brand-x copies are exactly that...

If the seller states the wheels are made by a reputable manufacturer such as Weld, American Racing, etc, to the OEM standard, then they're probably very good, unless they're manufacturering "seconds" diverted to resellers.
