3rd gen drive shaft will work, you'll neeed to buy b&m pn 30299 to make it all work.

there are two different driveshaft lenths for the Thirdgens. one was for the TH200C. and the other is for the 700R4. to put a TH350 in your car you will need the TH200C driveshaft(you can get one out of an 82 T/A or 82 camaro). the 700R4 driveshaft is too short because the 700R4 tranny is longer because it has 4 gears instead of 3.

Th350 length
6" tailshaft
27 11/16

9" tailshaft
30 11/16

12" tailshaft
33 27/32

700r4
All except Corvette
30 3/4

Corvette (1984-1996)
29 7/8

The th200c shaft is about the same length as the th350 6 inch tail shaft, so that drive shaft will work.

I was looking for info on putting the 350 turbo into my car and this thread popped up on Google. I don't normally look at the dates on these threads.
