Any boosted guys want my BOV?

Here is a picture of my modified throttle body. The blow-off valve is attached to it. It is a fully-polished Greddy Type-R unit with optional heavy spring. It will NOT open during acceleration. Good for turbo or supercharger applications. Weldable flanges for the valve are available at your local rice-shop!

$200 and I'll ship it. Whoooosssshhhh!

Dude, a BOV will work on a Yugo if you want it to...

To "hook that up" you purchase the weldable flange I mentioned in my original post.

The Flange he speaks of is just below the BOV itself, for those of you that don't know what the BOV is its the shiny chrome unit hanging off the side of the throttle body. This is an acctual Race valve, not a little birdie chirper that you see on e-bay, this moves a LOT of air at one shot, these are prefect for the twin turbo setups some are looking to mount on their rides, or for a very large single unit, they handle 22-25 PSI in stock form, and he says this has been upgraded with the larger spring, which depending on which spring is installed you are looking at close to 50 psi of holding pressure. Another side bit for those that do not know what a BOV is for, it is designed to release the boosted air from the intake tract so that when the throttle plates close the boosted air does not ricochet back and forth between the turbo and the throttle plates causing what is called compressor surge, this can have detrimental effects on your turbo bearings it not installed.

As far as the weldable flange you will need to purchase it from a Greddy dealer. It is a universal BOV, all it needs is a vacuum line from the manifold to acctivate it . Spend $200 now, or $700+ later to get your turbo replaced due to premature bearing failure. Its your choice.
