Its a Stainless steel metal which is shaped in a way for air to be forced in the intake as a vortech, which supposidly gives better atomization and combustion, But since TPI's arent exactly Free flowing there gonna do squat for u. They sell those from a company for $72.00 its not worth it.

Didn't they actually make an electric supercharger a couple of years bcak. I remeber something like that. I must not have went far.

This gave me better performance than the neon light kit I installed!

 

no, actually I think it was an 12V to 110AC inverter hooked to the cigarette lighter, the blower made 50 more HP but the alternator drew 60 hp to make it run and of course I only race with my air conditioner on (I disconnected the WOT inhibit for the A/C pump to keep it cool) another 20 hp loss. I also crank my 1000 watt stereo (another 50 hp lost and 950lbs heavier) but it doesnt matter because this mustang runs 12's even though its never been to the track because it was able to keep up with a Viper in bumper to pumper traffic.
