boost and stealth ram?

Has anyone with a blown/turbo car had any problem with the top of the stealth ram lifting off? This may seem like a dumb question but, if a blower/turbo can lift a head with 10-17 bolts holding it down why the plenum? It only has four little bolts holding it on. Your thoughts are appreciated.-Jeff

The plenum bolts are pretty long. Id think they would do the job just fine. Either way I'm about to do a blower/AFR/stealth ram build so i'll let you know soon enough.

I use one with 14lbs of boost, with no problems. Although throw
the flimsy gaskets out that come with it and make your own. They
did push out the first time i got into it.

I have blown the head gaskets twice, the intake tubes, but never the top of the intake.

I figured headgaskets or bellows would be the 1st to go.

Have you considered a composit gaket or oring block/head for wirelocks?

Yes- I have the wirelocs in now-it also helps to have a safe A/F ratio-something about running 20+ lbs. and 17:1 A/F.......boom!

So I "detuned" it now to only 11.95 PSI and 11.5 A/F.
