Need some performance advice please
Ok I'm thinking of putting the bottle on my car and if I do I'm leaning toward the Nos system. However there is a new system that has come out from a co. by the name of Python. Its called Venom and has the part number VCN-2000. They have a website at www.venom-performance.com I would really appreciate any help yall have on this and I'm sure it should be better off in the N2O board but I've had no luck on any other N2O boards that I've posted on. It must be the 305 TBI thing. I was also looking into adapting a Procharger truck system to put on my car. I did a convertor install on a 96 Blazer that had a whipple charger on it with TBI and I wasnt all that impressed with it. Any way I'd really appreciate any help yall can give me. I also need a new tranny since my 700 is beyond rebuildable. I've heard the b & m and the tci ones are junk so I could use some help here too.

I dont' know about the bottle but I've been tooling over the idea about adapting a truck supercharger kit like vortech, powerdyne etc. to the camaro. I see no problems except having to do some custom combo with the pully system.

First off thanks for replying. I've seen the ATI Procharger installed on a TBI Truck in the info packet they sent me. It appears form the photo the only adapting you have to do is if how you want the air to enter the blower at. From the pick and where its K & N sits it looks like you could use a ram air set up off of a 96 or 97 SS in conjunction with a ram air hood. They sent me the info packet 1 day after i requested it. Plus I'm not a big vortec fan and I won't even consider a powerdyne. When you bolt on the Procharger's bracket it shifts the alternator towards the center of the engine and then the Procharger goes on next to it. These are both on the driver's side just like our cars are.

vortec is soon going to be coming out with a universal supercharger for small block chevy carbed/tbi engines.
i think i will move this to the power adders board for you, i think you will get more detailed information from that board than you will here.
If you dont get any answers, feel free to email me and i will reopen this post for you.

If you plan on going with nitrous, definatly go with NOS. They started the nitrous world off and they are still going strong. They obviosly know what they are doing. I have been using nitrous for 3 years and haven't had a problem YET! Foloow the guidelines in the manual step by step and you won't have a problem either.
