Started out on Nittos and a 100 shot. I think my best with that setup was a 8.63 The tires were spinning pretty bad. So I got tired of that and put my et streets on and went a 8.32 (100 shot)

Then I put in the 150 jets and went a 8.05 1.70 60ft @ 85mph. then a 8.07,8.08,8.08.

I really wanted it to go in the 7's maybe with a little more traction and some tuning it will be there. The car ran great and I had a blast shifting the gears. I will try to get some video's up for you guys to see.

I also wanted to run a 200 shot but I didn't have any jets for a 200 shot.
Might just have to stick with the 150.

 

It may be a good thing that you dont have the 200s......lol. Man you did that with a manual, thats great. I love the way you can bang the gears with a manny, I have a 700r4 but maybe one day....lol. Maybe you and MW66NOVA could make some passes, he has a pretty hot 305, but its all gas. You must have pretty stout bottom to be looking at a 200 shot. Good luck and shoot some video.

 

the motor is all stock besides intake and cam, stock rods,crank,pistons,etc.. Stock heads too. with a 150k the motor had had new rings and bearrings installed, about 20k ago

Good run man. Kanawha Dragway? I was supposed to go today to watch the Night of Fire but I am stuck here at work. Sounds like there are quite a few F-bodies that visit that track.

Good times. I wish I could get a launch like you do. Best 1/8th time I have done is 8.7 @ 84.

 

Took it back to the track and got a 8.03
