I dont see what would stick up out of the hood but that first pic looks absolutely retarded with the filters coming out where the headlights should be.

My main concern would be with the quality of the headers after all that work / $$$...
Hope it lasts...

Re: EBAY TWIN TURBO INSTALLED PICS!!!!!!
maybe put a scoop type cone where the headlights were then filter on the inside insted. and the hoses over the rad is probably what sticks up too high.
and i agree headers ar usually the weak point w/ bay systems. reallydo hope it works out for ya though!

Um, no. That system was custom built by a TGO member and apparently stolen by people marketing turbos on Ebay. The Ebay twin turbo exhaust manifolds will put the turbos nowhere near that location.

I agree with you Jeremy. That is not like the ebay stuff. That is either a custom build or maybe even one of mines, looks very similar.

The ebay headers put the turbos forward and low in front of motor. That is a custon kit some one put together not the ebay junk. I think travZ is on to something.
Bottom line is even if the bay kit would last you still would need to modify it welding/fabricating just to get the kit to bolt on the car.

Re: EBAY TWIN TURBO INSTALLED PICS!!!!!!
you better not be on here trying to sell that junk luni. sure it may work, but it isnt a bolt on kit by any means. can somebody freeze this post or everybody just ingore it? i mean, they dont even look like ebay kits, so ur trying to get us to buy junk from ebay with fake pictures?
that just aint right

there is a kit with headers on ebay that puts the turbos in that location....and there is another one that puts them low in front of the motor...so it could be an ebay kit with the other headers mentioned first....

Re: EBAY TWIN TURBO INSTALLED PICS!!!!!!
Why lock the post, we can just put the information in here so people know not to buy that garbage.
Yeah those picss arent of the ebay kit, that shows internally gated turbos and the junk on ebay includes external gates.
Either which way, even if the crap from ebay ssautochrap, xspower etc can be installed on the car, its still garbage, the parts are going to fail, possibly causing damage to the engine.

Re: EBAY TWIN TURBO INSTALLED PICS!!!!!!
I agree! I hate it too, but I did it to mock the foriegn crap, and its functional. I've recently upgraded to external wastegates and finished fiberglassing the passenger side turbo intake. You can see those exact same pictures in the "post pics of your power adder thread" around page 10 or 12 I think.

Re: EBAY TWIN TURBO INSTALLED PICS!!!!!!
I have the ebay t3/t4 "57 trim" turbos... they measure out to be more like a 46 trim. They happen to be perfectly sized for my motor, but the backing plate seal is cheap and tends to leak. Oil leaks out from the 4 bolts that hold on the compressor backing plate. I replaced the seal in one of them with a garrett replacement and the other with silicone... the silicone still leaks...slowly.
Re: EBAY TWIN TURBO INSTALLED PICS!!!!!!
Just wondering if the e-bay kit is even worth buying for a plateform in which to build upon and fix the weak links as they show up. Never ran a turbo before and just looking for a place to start. Open to constructive criticism.
Re: EBAY TWIN TURBO INSTALLED PICS!!!!!!
my advice, if you can rebuild stuff, buy their wastegates and blow off valves overhaul them and use em.
maybe the headers.
dont buy the turbos, go junkyarding, its cheaper and garrets typically dont explode in a month.

Re: EBAY TWIN TURBO INSTALLED PICS!!!!!!
The placement of the air cleaners is not my cup of tea.
I would of preferred them placed somewhere else more hidden instead of removing the high beams on the car. Does this car have high beams?

Re: EBAY TWIN TURBO INSTALLED PICS!!!!!!
I just got done fabbing up those ebay headers on my friends 91 TA in about 2 hours I had them bolted up with two t-4 turbos. I have the pics just give me a minute ounce you see the pics you may reconsider. The driver side I just moved the back primary tube in about 1.5 inches to clear the steering shaft etc. Both headers I cut of the t-3 flange and put a 3 inch pipe 45 degree and put both turbos overtop the battery trays. I ran 3" downpipes over the headers and back down the firewall pretty easyily. The best part is it all is very easy to work on.
Here are some crappy pictures. The kit is done we have some cleaning up on those ugly welds and still need to get are other wastegat in the mail. This is on a budget the turbos are real garret t04 about $1300 new and 44mm cheap wastegates from vsracing they said they will work fine just not as high qaulity as the tial stuff $210 for the pair. The headers were $150 on ebay yes they are the ones you know that just bolt on, HA HA!! We new we would have to modify them but it actualy only took about 2 hours to get them modified. The welds look good so not bad for $150 and a little work. The intercooler is a 3" obx he paid $85 on ebay. The downpipes are 3"

Re: NON-EBay Twin Turbo Installed pics!!!!!!
My car does still have high beams. They work great, of course I've had silverstar halogens since before I took out the other high beams. Just to repeat, I don't like the air filters where they are either, but it works great (IAT dropped over 40 degrees) and as a general reminder I'm not using ebay headers.

Re: NON-EBay Twin Turbo Installed pics!!!!!!
I had to cut a perfect ATR downpipe on a customers GN to fit with his E-bay special headers that leaked everywhere.
But they looked nice leaking!
A Banks kit would be a good choice if they make them for your guy's cars anymore. I know they usto.
Anything I put on here about the pictures posted is going to come out wrong or be read wrong so I'm just not going to say anything.

batass **** you, your a bitch you dont know anything, I wanted to put the kit on my camaro, if you search a few weeks back in power adder threads I question the legitimacy of the kit never once did i tell anyone to go buy it or anything with ebay, and if like ttype camaro says he did get the turbos off ebay than what the **** did I lie about? your all goobers...
----------
I'm no longer interested in fueling you flamers, search under ebaymotors.com parts and acessories just put 82-92 camaro, you will find the kits and you will find them with "ttypes" pics, and you will also find a listing for batass's mom under "erotica" $14.50 an hour cant beat that guys!!!

I plan to do almost the "same" thing sometime when I get the time. My biggest concern is that the headers will have to carry the weight from the turbos. I guess some xtra support is needed.
