Electric Supercharger?

Has anyone seen this?

http://www.electricsupercharger.com

Thoughts?

I have an 87 2.8 Camaro, and am trying to figure out adding turbo vs. supercharger.

Re: Electric Supercharger?

Its 100% pure junk.
It will do nothing more than divert funds away from effective modifications or buying gas to get back and forth to work.

Turbo Vs supercharger
Is the difference between fabricating turbo piping vs maching and fabing brackets and lining up belts and installing larger belts.
I have done single and sequential turbo setups, I would say installing 2 turbos is easier than custom fitting 1 supercharger.

Re: Electric Supercharger?

Electric Supercharger questions should be banned here on TGO & grounds for Banishment!

Not only do NONE of them do any good, but it has been asked about & made fun of so many times that a simple SEARCH would show it.

Re: Electric Supercharger?

Everything on that site is sold out. Back in stock 3-15-11.. Wonder why the site is still up.

BlackenedBird, If it's that big of a deal get someone to make it a sticky.

To tell the truth the sticky's on this forum are so out of date it's not even funny. Many are useless. Maybe time to kill a bunch of them and start over.

Re: Electric Supercharger?

Just turbo it the ole fashon way if you want a major increase in HP on the lil v6 or go n20. The electronic ones are just a marketing fad/scam IMO

Re: Electric Supercharger?

As with many things in life, if it worked as suggested and was cheaper, easier etc. etc. everyone would have one. Nobody does which probably tells you what you need to know.
