Paxton SN93 Supercharger

I've been doing some research on installing this kit I purchased on my 1988 Camaro 305 TPI but haven't fully come across an answer to my question(s). So figured I would start a thread while I continue my research.

Some background info on the Camaro. So it's a 305 TPI with SLP runners and Plenum ported to match the runners (not installed yet). It's got Summit racing shorty headers, Doug's Y-pipe, no cats and a 3" Hooker Aerochamber Exhaust system. And a Walbro 340 in tank fuel pump.

If I could I would like to stay away from using an FMU and run 30 lb or 36 lb injectors (was thinking 36 lb would be better?). As far as tuning goes would I be able to get a mail order PROM from TPiS and run the MAF sensor still? I came across the instructions manual on this forum and in them they still use the MAF but also have the FMU and meth injection system which I'm trying to stay away from. I'm not really comfortable trying to write my own tunes. I would think my only next options would be going Standalone ecm which I was looking into the FITech system or using the FMU along with the bigger injectors with hopefully not such a high fuel pressure going thru the fuel rail. Thoughts?

Also the kit I bought is mostly complete but I'm missing the belt. Does anyone have a part number for the belt or a reference number to the correct length of belt? What about the Upper Radiator hose?

Thank you for any and all help!

Re: Paxton SN93 Supercharger

To give you an idea of the potential airflow and fueling requirements for a blown 305 tpi car, here's an example log from a MAF tune that I provided to Blowerworks for Felix's car: https://datazap.me/u/tequilaboy/feli...8395-8431-8363

Procharger, 305 tpi, 5 speed car with Blowerworks MAF and 42 lb/hr injectors @ 42 psi (pressure differential relative to manifold pressure).

Here's the same log re-displayed with a bit more emphasis on the fuel control aspects in order to improve clarity: https://datazap.me/u/tequilaboy/feli...8499&mark=8394

It could get by with a little less injector but has plenty of room to grow.

Re: Paxton SN93 Supercharger

I seriously would NOT go that route.

Buy a proper Fuel Pump, and a Boost referenced Fuel Pressure Regulator.
Fuel Pressure needs to increase 1Psi per 1Psig of Boost Pressure.

Which route would you not go?

I've got a Walbro 340 in tank fuel pump so I'm good there. Kit came with a Vortech FMU. I'll do some research on a Boost referenced Fuel Pressure Regulator, thank you!

On a MAF sensor? Or did you do this combo on SD or MAP?
It was looking like I was gonna be going with a custom PROM thru Tuned Performance, 30 lb injectors and run the Vortech FMU with I guess a 6:1 ratio? But if a custom PROM from Tuned Performance, 42 lb injectors and MAF set up will work than awesome. Just not getting much feedback whenever someone comments...
