I Just wanted to say Im glad to see Hawks in the banner now. Ive done my share of gripeing and complaining about the banner and the google ads. I appriciate the work that the new owners have done to take our suggestion into consideration. My only complaint left is the lack of a firebird in the banner. Maybe find a nice pic of a camaro and a firebird together and scratch the current camaro. But like I said, Im glad to see hawks up there now. Thanks guys.

I would also like to give a big thanks to everybody that has been working on the site the past couple of weeks. I love the upgrade and the new look.

 

The lack of Google ads is DEFFINENTLY a huge improvement. But on the main page, can we get a link to the Classifieds again please?

might be dumb but id get large banners for all the companies with a small banner in rotation in the top header. Then stick them little banners at the bottom.


top banner rotation placement would be the bread winner with cheap rates on a tiny banner at the bottom. Then ya could have as many as ya want at the bottom. But to keep things load balanced id ditch the ani gif banners. n no flash. Its things get to load hungry they will just turn images off.

 

Hawk's could be a larger sponsor than the others meaning they would get the top spot. Just a thought. Things are looking up! Thanks again guys.

I also complained about the google ads, and i also give a huge thumbs up to the hawks ad. the quick response to all of our comments is greatly appreciated. also, the new front page is awesome! all my fears of this site loosing its appeal are gone and i am fully confident in the new hosts. great work .

 

Yes, the google ads was crap, good riddance! I have always thought sites like Hotrod.com looked really cheap and amaturish with those google ads shouting out about the crap $39 turbonator hoax.

Who do they think we are? All stupid assh0les that don't know any better? Heck, this is an automotive forum, people WILL find out it's crap, the few who don't already know!

Now, just get some of all the creativity from the board members to fill the front page with articles, videos and stuff thirdgen related, and we will have a much better site than ever!
