Im from Howe, OK. It's near Poteau and also near the AR border. Are u guys members of the TFCC(Tulsa Firebird and Camaro Club) or COFBA(Central Oklahoma F-body Assoc.)? Go to http://www.projecttransam.com and look on the left side and you will see message boards, go there and voila, you can see our clubs' boards, and we have monthly meetings too. Just go on ther and tell the DaBandit sent ya and ask about the meetings.
Thanks,
Chris "$teve" Williams

I originally posted this in another thread, a few days ago.
"Since there are a few Oklahoma people here, when I was in Tulsa a couple months ago, I saw a lot of thirdgens while driving around. Much higher number of them than what I would consider normal. Some stock, some dressed up.
Anybody know why that is?
Is there an active "thirdgen" club there?"
Also remember seeing on the local news about somebody with a nice looking thirdgen that got in a wreck that looked like it got totaled. (possibly street racing!) Was that anybody that posts here?

I'm in Midwest City, JMatlock88 is in Stillwater. We talk about trying to organize a meet sometimes, but never seem to get around to it. I think we need to organize something for this spring, or maybe this coming summer. What are you guy's feelings about a meet?

Alright, what sounds better, spring or summer? What should we do, meet up and eat, and then roll out to thunder valley? "Cruise" ? Although 39th sucks now, we'd probably all get tickets for something stupid. Any ideas?

I say spring. I say we meet up somewhere like hefner lake and have a cookout and maybe a lil judging for the cleanest ride (even though i will loose). Then afterwards cruise somewhere, even if it is 39th, I would still enjoy rolling with a camaro clan.

my car may be down for a while...like maybe a year or longer while i pretty much rebuild the whole car. putting on a whole new setup and due to lack of funds, it could be a very long process to do this...but i will still try to make whatever even if i have to drive my truck

is there anyone around southwest OKC that would be willing to plug my '87 165ecm in to there car to test it for me so I don't have to spend the money for a new one if I don't need to?
Thanks,
Doug

Im thinking we should have a meet around late spring, everyone would have plenty of organizing time and stuff.
I would organize one myself, but i'm only 17 and don't always have good judgment, we need somone expirenced at this to do it.
