March 26th whatd you run?

Ended up with a best of a 14.033, with 28" by 10" slicks, and 3.08's, so hopefully next time out ill have a different size slick, and some 3.73's and hope for a high 13. I also got the best RT of the day with a .004, but it was in the third run, and they were only doing the contest for the first two runs, so that sucks. Oh well what did everyone else run

Wow that's cool, Steve! That's a great RT. I'm glad somebody else made it in.

Steve,

What was your 60' time ... those 3.08 gears and 28" tires are not good at all for drag racing , maybe for top end speed. The 3.73 gears with 26" ET Streets, or the new 275/50/15 ET Street drag radials, would be a much better combination.

Sounds like they had so many people that not everyone made it in to race?

Steve I thought you had plenty of gear setups since you had the 4.11s in the TA and then 3.42s as well why didn't you guys get one of those installed?

no... the only other set we had in the garage were the 3.23's and concidering the change wouldnt be much, i just went ahead and left the 3.08's in. Before the summit series ill have some 26X9" slicks and 3.73's

I managed 2.0 flat- 2.1 60' times with that setup tho

Yeah but with that size of slick and the upgrade to your TC you should have been lower

yeah... but the 3.08's were killing me, so with the smaller slicks, and different gears, i should hopefully get like 1.6's

More like low 1.8s or high 1.7s ... it takes a good amount of power to get 1.6s, or a loose converter with a high STR.
