Proportioning valve question
Proportioning valve question
About a year after I purchased my car I had my friend replace the master cylider and proportioning valve. I didn't really know anything about cars yet, so I just had him get it from a junkyard and put it on.
the proportioning valve is not from another trans am. It is just off another chevy from the early 80's (I think). I was wondering if I took a few pics of it, if maybe someone could identify it, just out of curiosity.

It works better than the stock one that was in there when i bought the car.
I am planning on doing a full brake replacement at some point, bigger discs, better calibers etc. Not for awhile though.

Well still no pics, but i was in the junk yard the other day getting A-arms and i saw my proportioning valve. It was on an 85 or 86 camaro rs with a v6.
I may still get pics up i just dont know when

Hey.... if it works better than what you had on the car before and you aren't going through pads on either end of the car at an excessive rate or warping the crap out of rotors, let 'er buck.......
