A solenoid that locks your BRAKES. you press the brake pedal down, flip a switch, soenoid egauges maintaning brake fluid compression, in return holds the brakes so you dont have to.

ah ....ty...any suggestions on a decent one? is the JEGS one for 45 any good?

this seems like something you could do yourself, meaning not have to buy a kit especially for it....seems like you could pick up a solenoid for like 15 bucks and do it.....

Do you put line locks on your daily drivers?

The line lock is only for the front brakes right? Its purpose is to allow you to do a burn out without the back brakes dragging.

I've wondered about one, but feel uneasy (paranoid about a device that can lock up my front wheels.

in order to use the line lock you must press and HOLD the brakes down THEN flip the switch....and itll lock the line...youd have to be doing a whoooole lot wrong to *accidently8 lock the line...and if you can install it, chances are you arent dumb enough to accidently lock the line while driving,.
