Everybody with MT ET Streets....
I just got a set of 15x8 pro-stars with 5.5" backspacing. I am not sure what rear tires to run. I want to run either 28X11.5 or 26x10.5 or larger if they'll fit. Does anyone have any pics of there cars with these or larger tire sizes on them and the mods they had to do. I tried a search but didn't come up with what I was looking for. I want them to tuck up into the fender and not sure how big I should go! Thanks in advance!

5.5 with a 8 inch rim, it`ll be tucked, that`s for sure! The 28 will need the wheel wells hammered to make room, maybe even the bump stops with that combo of width and backspace. 26 er`s will be the closest size to stock.

5.5 backspacing is kinda tucked in...better suited for 4th gen rears as they stick out wider. this is what i now have, a wider 4th gen rear with a 15x8 with 5.5 backspacing. I'm running a 5/16 inch spacer too tho as i need that to help clear the ls1 brakes
but i have 26x10.50 ET Streets on those wheels and they are tiny. i used to have 26x11.50's on my 16 inch Irocz's and they had over an inch of tire tread to them. I know i dont push alot of power but i hope i still hook as good with this tire. i wouldnt run 10.50's on 10 inch wheels.

15x10 with a 5.5 bs or get a 15x8 with a 4.5 bs. I have the same rims and tires above and I run a 15x10 so the tires doesn't look puckered.
