Lowering kit for a convertible how do I do it??

I have a 91 z28 convertible and the eibach lowering kits on some sites say it will now work with convertibles. Do I have to spend a lot more money and get a coil over kit or air bags to lower my car or is there a spring kit that can do it.

Mine was simple as an Eibach pro-kit, and removing all the spring isolators. I do wish the front end was a bit stiffer.

I put my prokits in my vert while I was living in Fort Worth. What a crappy town. Come to Austin.

No, seriously....there was no prob with installation. The front and rear suspension basics are the same with verts and hard-top and t-top.

Really thats perfect the pro-kit was the same one I'm looking at. Did you install it yourself do you need a spring collapser. I like doing most of my mods myself.

Actually its the eibach sportline kit that I was looking at that says it will not work with convertibles.

I got ahold of some un-used jamesx. They went in fine.

Before that I had some crap off ebay. Rode like crap.

Biggest thing, verts weight more. So whatever the advertised drop is. Expect another .125-.25 lower.

I have sportlines in my bird. The suspensions are the exact same vs the coupe counterparts. We just look better.

I wish. I had to trim mine to get them lower.
