Rear Sway Bar HELP!!!!
My rear sway bar links are bent... should I be replacing these or is it not a big deal?
I just noticed this while looking at the rear differential leak I have that I posted about in an earlier post over in the Transmission forum.
Just wanted to find out weather or not this is something I should be fixing?
Thanks

Re: Rear Sway Bar HELP!!!!
would this be an easy job for me to do it at home?
also, I was told the new ones will do the same if i would replace them, is there a certain brand or something I should buy so they don't?

As long as you have the correct wrench and socket, it should take you no more then a half hour including time to jack the car and what not... then again some people do move really slow.
Make sure you wait to torque the endlinks until you have the suspension loaded a.k.a. have the weight on the wheels.

Re: Rear Sway Bar HELP!!!!
can i let the jack down all the way so that all the weight is back on the tire to do that, or should I just let it down part way so that there is just a little weight on the tires?

Yeah I am heading up to Autozone after work for a few things. I think I may just pick up the rear's because they are the only ones that are bent.
