Start with the Ultimate TBI mods located in the tech articles; then fix the motor's breathing and exhaling (K&N and the exhaust system).

IMO, after the ultimate TBI mods, do a tune-up; then work on the suspension and drivetrain and try to get rid of all the parasitic power loss that plagues our vehicles.

start with a open element (doesnt even have to be a k&n), then i would definetly get a set of headers, high flow or no cat, and a good catback echaust system. I noticed the most performance from my headers, then probably the open element, then my intake. you might want to read up before tackling the headers or intake. I pick up on things very quickly and didnt really know what i was doing either time took me a full day to do headers and maybe 3 hours for the intake. Id throw a tranny cooler in there to while your at it. Since i added one i havent had the 2-3 shift problem

the problem is caused by weak clutch bands. I dont know why it seemed to help but it did. Mine doesnt hesitate it just doesnt shift out of second at WOT sometimes. Id get a tranny cooler anyways. Im a believer in them now. Hell why not spend 30$ to double the life of your tranny?

Sounds like a plan...I have always had some prob at the track shifting out of second. My car will shift fine...just seems to stumble real bad then pick right back up. It seems to do it right at 4500

I dunno...$30 bucks ain't bad

easy to do to. Just unscrew the tranny lines from the radiator, take the radiator out, hook up the cooler, use the line provided to connect the lines to the cooler, stick the radiator back in and your done. Will have to add some tranny fluid but thats it. The trans-go shift kit also is supposed to prevent that problem from happening. To late for me so im not putting the shift kit in until i get the tranny rebuilt. do you have aim? if so IM me at fxsleeperautococ since your up this late to

Hey, my car does that at WOT, won't shift outta 2 to 3. I have to let off a little to let it shift. I guess this is because the engine is pushing too many RPM's (5000) for the tranny? Bah, I think my tranny is due for a rebuild anyways.

no need for a holley 670 TBI unless you pushing some good ponies. Dont go waste that much money yet.
