Open Air Element..

I RECENTLY ASKED ABOUT PERFORMANCE MODS ON A STOCK 305 TBI.. PEOPLE INFORMED ME TO GO WITH AN OPEN AIR ELEMENT WITH A K/N. IS THIS ALRIGHT TO DO ON A DAILY DRIVER. IS THERE ANY DOWN SIDE TO THIS MOD.

Go to the RICE section in Advance or Autozone (yeah, I know ) but APC has some breathers that will push right into that grommet where the tube was. It won't evacuate crankcase gasses as well, but as long as your PCV is working correctly I don't think it'll hurt.

breather

RICE :nono: lol is that ok to just vent ? so I dont need to run back to the breather? I have seen the push in vents in summit, etc. and wasn't sure wich way to go with the open breather set-up.

go into advance autoparts and go back to the "performance" section. They have a spectra breather element im running there. Its chrome...looks pretty good and fits right down in the stock gromet.
