Both Dyno Don and I (as well as others whom I don't recall names of) have measured the intake runners at 168 cc's.

We've also verified the combustion chambers being 64 cc's.

These are on the 14102191's and 193's.

Do a search under Dyno Don's name for "swirl port". You should find a wealth of info.

According to paceparts they are 64cc and have 9.6:1 compression. At least on the motor I have. It is a caprice motor also. I'm about to ditch the boat anchors sitting ontop of my block for a set of vortecs anyways.

I calculated up the total cost and that vortec kit isn't that good of a deal. You can get everything separate for cheaper. Go to jegs and get a price on everything. I think its cheaper to get everything alone. Not as easy but cheaper.

really, that kit came with heads with the upgraded springs, intake, gaskets, and bolts i dont think its cheaper to get them separate. and can u even get vortec heads separate with teh springs. from them u can.

I was going to get Sportsman II's. Then I ran into a set of Vortecs for cheap so I'm just gonna go that route. Maybe port them someday yadda yadda yadda. Right now I'm gonna keep the car fairly mild since its my only car. And because it snows here. And gas is getting ridiculous.
