Chip or 1.6 RR
Well guys I do not have the money right now to get the car tuned in detail and I do not have that much money. So my question to you guys is if I should buy the TBI.com chip, or get a set off 1.6 RR. I wanna do the roller rockers cause they are cheaper and I need other things for the car, but will the car run ok on a stock chip and 1.6 roller rockers?

imo much better off going to a a 1.6rr but, don't get super cheapys! Cheap roller rockers usually don't last from what i've been told by people who know a lot more than me.

The chip should help some, but unless you're there for a personal tune you won't be able to get the maximum benefit from it. 1.6RR's are a good mod, but like others have said, don't get anything cheap. The best mods for the money are either headers or gears/posi. If you can resist the money burning a hole in your pocket, I would try to save up for one of those instead. You should be half way there with what you have.

that should work fine. As long as it's the narrow kind that's self aligning which it is you should be fine!
that's a stamped steel rocker arm not a roller rocker though so you know.
a full roller rocker has a roller fulcrum and roller truniun (think thats the right terminology)(2 bearings on it). Theres also roller tip rockers which are probably best for the money you spend on them that have 1 roller bearing on the tip of them(trunion lol dunno why i use big words).
The roller bearings cut down on valve train wear a decent bit and reduce a small ammount of friction therefore lowering oil temps and freeing up a very small ammount of power from parasitic loss.

The ones you linked will be fine, they aren't going to fall apart on you or cause any more wear on your engine than the stock rockers they're the same design just a bit less lift
