I know i said was done here but..... v. 150shot 305
last night, coming home from sams/fridays, i was heading toward bayfront on barrancas, went bottom of the bayou chico bridge, i sprayed it, well... i went past the ice shack, and my car SOUNDED loud, i was like wtf did my muffler fall off, it was backfiring out the exhuast LOUD, and i was revving it like wtf. well, i heard a SHHHHHHHHHHH sound like my muffler was draggin so i was like ****, gotta pull over and fix this ****.
i cut over towards the "express mart" on barrancas, and it died going up the driveway i coasted to a stop and was like wtf "SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" did i pop my radiator? so i get out and open the hood. my aircleaner was FROSTY. i was like oh ****. so i shut off my bottle...
nitrous solenoid stuck open. i was like **** i was revving it and **** and drove almost 1 mile with it stuck open. strong *** 305 right?
well.. i tried to start it and it wouldnt turn over, it would make a clunk noise like something bad was wrong, well.. i called triple A and waited a bit over an hour. got bored so i tried to start it again, after making sure no oil was leaking on the ground. well, it fired right up. and i gave it hell on the way home. drives just fine
what the ****. superman engine?
can drive almost a mile spraying a 150 wetshot with no fuel. revved and whatnot at that.
i just dont even know what to say.
yea i was planning on leaving my house at 6am monday to walk to work. lol.

just wnated to say i think the reason it wouldnt start was because it was hydrolocked on nitrous.

I made a vinyl just for you, and you probably didn't nitrous lock the motor, it takes about 500hp to do that, what happened was most like massive heat build up and the pistons seized. I used to have a Honda Accord that would do that about once a month; let it cool down and start it up again good to go. It's nice to see the General can build em like the Japanese can!

I DO believe that it locked on nitrous. The engine leaned out as it was getting N20 and no added fuel, resulting in the popping. When he let the engine return to idle to stop, it stalled the engine due to a massive lean-out and flooded one of the cylinders with N20. Then the cylinder was effectively hydraulic locked. After a period of time the N20 boiled and disappated past the rings as vapor, allowing the engine to restart.

That is a possibility, I've seen engines lock up from huge shots (325 plate kit) sprayed to low of an RPM, the solution for that was to pull the spark plugs, crank the engine and spray at a higher RPM. In truth he's actually lucky it DIDN"T start when he hit the key, spraying nitrous into an engine then cranking it = bad things... very bad things.
