intake backfires when accelerating... please help
so I got my engine (305 tbi) back together after putting a cam it. but now it backfire out of the tbi only when given gas and at high rpm above 3 i checked timing a couple times and it looks good the only things that i have changed was the rotor on the distributor got broke in the process so a new one of those the map sensor vacumn got broke and I started it without it in the beginning and had it run a little but then replaced the line and the only other thing it the coolant temp fan switch but that should have anything to do with it i don't think. oh and the o2 sensor is just on the #1tube for now... thanks
this is not my video but this it exactly what my car does

The EST wire is a brown and black wire connector.
It must be unplugged prior to starting the car to do the timing. Once timing is set to 0-4 degrees, shut car off and disconnect battery for a second, then plug the est wire back in and connect battery. Your timing will now be correctly set.

ok I make sure all plugs were good I am pretty sure 6 was misfire the wire was not on all the way n neither was the plug so I fixed all that and it still does the same thing sitting in neutral am able to rev it and get a few pops from the front and in drive and hit the gas it bogs out and almost dies

Did the car idle at 0 degrees and stay steady after you tightened down the distributor with the EST wire still unplugged? Do you have the timing light set up correctly? Pickup wire on the number 1 one plug?
Who did the cam installation? Was it installed correctly?

If you don't own a timing light how did you set the timing? Also, with a cam swap you are going to want to get into DIY chip tuning. Without it your car will never run the way you want it to.
