Car has mind of it own~??

OK heres the deal.........I replaced my battery about a month ago, my alternator 2 weeks and my starter 2 weeks....Ok now when i try to start my car only every once in a while she just doesnt want to turn over, give a clicking noise or anything but if you leave her alone for about 15 min she will then turn over SOME ONE PLEASE HELP!!!!

I'm a bit confused by the wording at one point. You saying sometimes it does absolutely nothing?

do you have power to the lights at all when this happens? if not check the ground to the battery.

yeah sorry about that.... I have power to my light my stero turns on.... everything works....

sounds like a bad connection. check the battery terminals and wires. may need to replace the battery wires. or may just have alot of corrosion.

Is this when you're trying to start it hot? If so, it may be a heat soak problem with your starter solenoid.

try adjusting the ignition switch, my friends car wouldn't start sometimes and sometimes it would, we replaced the switch and BOOM, starts everytime.

headers i do not have, vats i do have, starter soleniod has already been replaced.....

He is right, is it only when HOT? If so, it's probably the starter. There is a lot of offshore components coming in to rebuilders and this problem is becoming very common. If you can isolate it try AC Delco components. My neighbors vette, 3 peps starters till he got an OE that worked.

the car is doing it again it seems to be when it has been running for a while and when it is also wet-moist out side....
