yes, it should. be a good idea to try it if you're going to depend on it.

Should work.. the 15" and 16" wheels I'm sure had the same diameter, just the 16" wheels had less tire wall than the 15"

So i don't see why it should not work.

Does anybody sell the full size spare with the inflator anymore?I'd rather have that instead of the donut.I usually don't keep the spare in the car,my car is on a diet, but on road trips I'll bring one along just in case. Thanks

I don't know about the spare, but I can vouch for the inflator being discontinued. The inflatable spare can be found in junkyards, but all the one's I've seen, the inflator was already used or gone. Your best bet would be to either use a can of fix a flat as inflator for the spare (yuck) or get one of those little cigarette ligher plug-in electric tire inflators.

I got one of the inflators for like $10, and it takes the damn thing 8 minutes to air a regular size tire up to 30 psi...dunno about the spare.

The inflatable spare is an important thing to have if you have posi. Otherwise, your stuck with risking burning out your posi clutch, or changing two tires if you blow a rear (put donut on front, then put good front on rear)

I have my original spare and inflator in my 83Z. One question though....is the inflator still safe to use after 20 years? Might just keep the spare/inflator in the attic for safe keeping of this fine speciman.

The inflator can be refilled.
