T-Ram installation Q's??? 24lb Injectors???

I recently purchased SLP's T-Ram setup for my '92Z. Along with it came a 52mm and 24lb fuel injectors...

I was wondering if the fuel injectors would be too much pressure for a stock motor with the T-Ram. I want the car to be streetable at all times, meaning I want it to idle properly etc...

Please help. Any info about the install would be greatly appreciated as well!

OK... I am in the middle of polishing the T-Ram and decided to order several other parts while I was going to have the motor apart.

I will be installing the T-Ram, SLP 1 3/4" Headers, 1000CFM Throttle Body, 24lb Injectors, and a Driver's side motor mount (SLP's suggestion)

Does anyone have any other recommendations while I am in there???

Another thing. SLP was glad to answer some simple questions about the T-Ram, including some ways to find parts for these relics.

Mike,

Depending on Cam/Heads combo.. the 58mm TB may be overkill..

I myself have a Miniram'd 357 (350 bored .040")
with pocket ported stock L98 Vette heads and a ZZ9 cam.. all I am using is a 52mm TB.

I feel the 58mm is for engines with cubes of 383 or greater

Just my $.02

Hey Mike 25th,
The only other thing i can think of right now for you to put on there is a fuel pressure regulator but i guess it doesnt really have to be done while thats apart. Oh, one more thing if you dont mind, how much did you pay for that setup?

Did SLP recommend the injectors? I have one about to be installed on a 350 with the Firehawk cam, Edelbrock 6805 heads, and SLP 1-5/8 manifolds. Did SLP offer any tips on tuning?

I paid $1650.00 for the complete T-Ram set up (including throttle body, fule pres. regulator, all sensors, 24lb/h injectors, and new gaskets) plus he threw in a strut tower brace.

Nobody recommended the injectors, they came with the T-Ram. He said he was running the whole set up in his GTA. I got the injectors for an extra $50. Not to shabby considering they only have about 500 mi on them.

I didn't want to bug SLP too much, so I just left it at some simple questions. Someone is going to email me the actual installation instructions from SLP. Email me and I'll forward them to you!!!

DANG, I should have taken that chance when I could have bought an entire wrecked Formula with the T-Ram on the motor for $1500 a few months ago!! The car had a roll bar in it also. About the only thing worth anything was the T-Ram and the interior. The guy was suppose to have took it to that big car show near Pennsylvania and sold it there.

Any tips on getting the passenger side header in?

I am wondering if the SMOG s#@t is going to be in the way when I plop the T-Ram onto the intake. I am also wondering if the stut tower brace will fit over it???

I have TES with no AIR. I stab the front of the header straight down behind the AC and AIR pump, then I just lower the back down. I can put both of my headers in from the top in less than 5 minutes.
