How do you know which LB9 you have?

How do you know which LB9 you have?
I have a 91Z28 w/the 305TPI LB9 (8th vin=F)
how do i know which LB9 i have because according to this TGO Tech Page there were 2 LB9s availible in 91. 205hp and 230- how do i know which one i have?

Was your car an Auto from the factory? If it was then you have the 205. If it was the manual, then Single cat=205 and Dual Cat=230.

Yup, dual cats = 230hp, and single cat = 205hp.
In the old days it was thought that besides the exhaust that the cam was smaller in the single cat car too. That has been proven untrue both by direct parts identification (i.e. people with single cat LB9s pulled cams and check #s) as well as indirectly (90-> single cat LB9s repond much better to mods than early peanut cam cars and are identical performance-wise with the dual cat cars once you upgrade exhaust)

HP is not everything. You've got more torque than that. Besides you can mod the crap out of 305's or 350's. And building a 350 is not that expensive if you do the work yourself.
