A/C, vent, defroster causes loud grinding sound
its not as bad in nuetral or park, or if im on the e-way...
any other time it sux...really loud.
wont do it on heat...but heat doesnt blow either.

Yup. Right out in the open, on top of everything, in plain sight, easy to get to.
Yeah, pretty much. Spin the motor by hand and make sure its bearings aren't hosed.
Usually the source of a loud grinding noise is easily revealed by visual inspection.
