See sig for engine details. Desktop dyno ran it for 435 HP and 440 TQ, and i'm running it on an ENGINE (not car) dyno either friday, or mon-tues of next week, so i'll post up the results.

May I ask...
Why did the dyno test start at 4000 RPM? I would have liked to see the low torque of that motor. I'll bet it would would be great with that Victor Jr.

nice engines.
84305HO, thats the same cam i'm planning on using but i'l be using 041 heads. it should get me in the 13s or close to it once i get some suspention and rear end work done for traction. what horsepower do you think you'l be at with the pro toplines?

we didn't want to bog it down too hard on the dyno... just was the rpm we started at... we probably made about 20 pulls?
on one of the first pulls we started it at about 2000, and it was pulling about 280ftlbs... around 3200, it jumps righ tup to 350...... and goes up from there...
and that was untuned... not too shabby
i'm right now investigating a cam change... not sure where to go with it tho...

Viper, calculating from trap speed and weight I should be 340-
350 hp with the present setup. With the Pro Toplines I would
like to make 370 - 380 hp.

Specs in sig. 517 hp pulls 500+hp 6000-7200rpm over 450lbs of torque on 91 octane pump gas and no gas additive or external boost of any kind. Have'nt raced it YET!

Here is another one that worked well for me.
350+.060" 2 bolt block
FM HP345+.060" flat top pistons
decked to .015" deck clearance
DG .015" shim head gaskets
Heavily ported "416" 305HO heads with 1.94X1.60" valves.
Heads max milled to 52cc's
Final compression ratio 12.65:1
Accelerated Motion solid cam
287/296 .537/.557"
256/264@.050 105LSA installed @99 in C/L
Crane 1.5:1 stamped steel roller tip rockers
Holley Strip Dominator single plane intake manifold
Edelbrock Performer 750 cfm carb, stock jetting.
Hedman 1-5/8" long tube headers 2.5" dual exhaust.
GM HEI W/MSD coil, w/locked out advance 36deg.
No time slips but easy 12's at 105 with 3500stall
and 4.10's and ET streets
*needs hi octane fuel
a little faster than the combo above. Could easily use more rear gear and a higher stall as it loved to rev 7000+rpm

In the sig....
Shooting for 430+ HP (Flywheel which will only be able to be estimated) should be around 380 (?) RWHP...
One additional thing to ask is an estimated price. I probably have more in mine than it is worth , therefore, I'm not gonna be the first! LOL
