Major Problem

sorry its so long

ok here it is..this has happend once in a million times to me but when slowing down and then slowly accelerating again it just feels like the car is trying to shut off and there is a tapping and clicking i can feel on the pedal also like the gas is cutting out. On the way home from school yesterday i was slowing down around some curved and when i started to accelerate again the clicking started but this time click click click...died and the steering wheel locked up going about 20 mph. If it was the fuel pump it wouldnt just lock up the steering wheel would it?? Ok started up just fine but smelled something burning...not sure what it was. After words i went to the gas station and threw in some good ole premium. When i was on my way to school it started clicking again going around a corner but didnt die. After school i decided to go get an oil change because it had been a while and i didnt have the time to change it before i went to FL... started to really heat up waiting to pull in. While i was on my way home...going around a corner it threw an SES light. when i got home and turned it off then back on..light dissapeared. After work, it was raining and i decided to spin them a little so i did a lil brake stand..murder on brakes i know.. but when i reved it to about 2 the car just flat out died. When pulling into the garage i heard a thunk thunk when i was tapping the brakes to get in. There are a few problems that i know of..

*Power Steering leak from the hose
*Cracked but not broke belt
*Possible Broken Tranny Mount

Edit- Was running regular gasw when it first started

just guessing by how the letters and numbers are arranged i'd think it means you have a low voltage problem to the EST. you could try random parts replacement or trouble shooting. either would work. trouble shooting might be a bit quicker and cheaper.

ok read another post and found a little information.

Code 43= Electronic spark control. Caused by; Poor electrical connection, open or short in circuit, defective ESC module,or knock sensor, defective ECM

What would be the first thing to check...the sensor??
Could the poor electrical connection be from a weak battery?
code 43 also...
43. Low voltage at electronic spark timing circuit

not enough voltage from battery??

running neons, amp, and fog lights, radar, and laptop

thinking of any possible cause before i just start buyin parts that dont fix the problem

I WOULD CHECK OUT THE IGNITION SWITCH, YOUR WHEEL SHOULD NOT LOCK UNLESS YOU TURN THE IGNITION TO THE LOCK POSITION. THE IGNITION SWITCH CAN ALSO CAUSE THE CAR TO DIE. DO YOU HAVE A BRICK ON YOUR KEY CHAIN?

recently replaced the igniton switch. Wheel didnt lock just power steering shut off sorry bout that. Only kicks off like that when its cold...when its idling the temerature really raises to about 240 with a 160 degree stat installed. when SES light comes on the car greatly reduces power..basically telling me the timing retards. Maybe knock sensor?? or maybe the ECM. When holding brake and just tapping gas the car just dies. Could the clicking i hear be the fuel pump comming in and out??

I would also check your connections at the dizzy. There should be two different pigtails at the back of your dizzy, make sure you have a good connection. The one should have like four wires in one plug and i think, two in the other. I was getting the same code before also.I ended up replacing one of the pig tails and throwing in a MSD box in and it solved my problem.
