My windshield washers haven't been working, and then I noticed that the hose coming from the tank was just laying inside the engine compartment (no clue on why it wasn't connected up). I've searched in there and I just can't seem to find where the hose hooks up to the pump. Where is that inlet located?

 

The hose from the cap of the tank goes to the outside nipple on the pump. It should be mounted on the back of the engine bay just under the drivers side wiper.. there should also be a hose going into the wall from the rear of the pump.

 

humm, mine don't work either, I'm gonna go look at mine, wonder if mine is still conected and if the pump works.

 

the nipple rezin is talking about is hard to find. The pump motor is in the bottom of the wiper motor, and is hidden in a cylinder about 2in. long and about an in. wide or so. Maybe that helps.

I found my hose like that too and it turned out the nipple on the pump had broken off inside the hose.

 

the pump is on the passanger end of the wiper motor assembly (located on the drivers side of the firewall) if you have trouble locating it, turn on your wipers, you'll hear it and see movement. But yeah, the hose attaches on the bottom, follow the hoses that run to the nozels backwards to find it.

 

Just checked my windshield washer hose, turns out the nipple broke off inside it... guess I need a new pump now.

 

Replaced the pump... had to prime it a bit with some water, but it works now.

 

as i put on the new pump for my windshiels motor after i had put both rubber hoses back on i broke the tip for the second hoses on the new pump where does the rubber hoses go to the first hoses is attach to the lines which runs in the nipple spikit where does the other hose connect to , does it go to the firre wall or else where , like under the the unit it self i have a camaro 5.0 z 28 1986
