oil pan
Ok well the patches that i made in my oil pan have lead to other holes popping up so i need a new pan. I am thinking about ordering one from summit for my 85 z28. Is this the right one?

That pan will fit your engine, but someone else would have to tell you how it fits the car. Use a Fel-Pro 1880 one-piece oil pan gasket.

Actually you might want to check that P/N I gave you, it might be the driver's side dipstick pan.

Do not get a chrome oil pan. Good for nothing. Chrome holds in herat, so it will raise your oil temp. How long will that chrome last? Are you gonna crawl under the car, to clean it?

i dont honestly care that its chrome, its something i can afford and be done with and have my car on the road

ive been lookin on summit and the only one for the 305, 1985 year showing up is the chrome one, i havent found any for that price at jegs and im not getting one around here(Canada) coz they seem to overcharge for everything here lol. If anyone has gotten a non chromed, non expensive pan from summit id appreciate the part#'s, i need to order it this week. Its a stock motor basically
