car stumbles and almost stalls at stops help!
ok, before i begin my car ran like crap after owning it for 2 years, so i decided to fix it up, new iac, new egr valve, new o2 sensor, tuneup about 6 months ago, air filter, fuel filter 8 months ago...ok now the problem, when i come to a stop the cars idle will drop down to 300-500 rpms almost stalling, but doesnt. but after a few seconds the idle will jump right back up to 900-1000 where it normally idles at. also driving from a stop the car shakes a little but, nothing big, but it does hesitate off the line....any answers??? bad battery connection???im outta ideas, please help. shes a 3.1 v6/t5 by the way

I know the 3.1L V6 PCM goes through an Idle Learn process where it will hunt all over the place for a while before learning the proper idle. SHouldn't have happened unless the PCM lost power, though. I'm fairly sure that's the only PCM/ECM used in any Camaro which learns in such a way. That's it for me...

looking at this from the ECM side of things,
Does your speedometer (VSS to ECM) work correctly?
Do you have a clutch switch to indicate if your in gear or not?
(Not sure if input is needed on the stick cars, auto needs it)
Allot of times when there are problems starting and stopping it is related to the ECM not seeing when the car is moving or in gear.
Might want to check on that.
HTH
as far as the "buzz",
(angry bees ?)
Might be a wire arcing to ground or the next one over.
Move them around and see if it stops.

speedo works fine, car runs great other than this problem, and missfiring at cruising speeds, i just wanna get some accurate feedback before i go out spending money on needless parts might be just a tuneup in order?

re: buzz
pull the dist. cap & check the rotor button, buzzing maybe the rotor has moved up just enough to hit the pins in cap,or maybe pins have some buildup inside it
seen this happen once on a tractor engine.hope it helps jimmy: as for the low idle, look on the right side of throttle body(standing in front of car)theres a screw the throtle lever hits ,on the back of this is a plug behind the screw.take the plug out ,get a star socket to fit this screw ,turn it clockwise it should speed up the engine idle to where you want it .thats it

What's the clutch/transmission doing when the idle drops down? i.e. in what gear, clutch engaged/disengaged?
I know you mentioned fuel pressure was good, but what is the fuel pressure when it bogs down and again when it stumbles off of a stop?

I've had similar problems in the past with my auto 3.1 V6. It was a vaccume leak. Not even a big one. I never even saw it, I just started replacing lines untill it quit.
