I'd say premium, 91 octane. with optimal timing 36*.
Try and find out. My setup knocked like crazy on 87 octane, when I forgot once.

I use 91 on my 350 HO Deluxe (the manual calls for 92, but I've experienced on problems).

well if you want the best bang for your buck your not even close... there is a reason new motors have knock sensors its to cope with the crappy gas

How do you even tune the thing for max performance when you can't even figure out your total advance..
