what are the torque and horsepower for the l98? both flywheel and rear wheel. thanks alot

It will depend on the year and whether the car is equipped with the dual cat setup.

I believe my '92 Formula's L98, with the G92 dual cat option, puts out 245 at the wheels.

thanks for the info. sorry to question you but is it really 245 at the rear wheels, got any idea of torque. as a matter of fact i have looked elsewhere for info but i also read that someties they are not true.

No, I'm not positive that is at the wheels, actually.

The engine is rated at that power, and I am assuming that GMs ratings in the 90's were at the wheels. But, now that I think of it, that might just be the net HP after the accessories but before the wheels.

So, I am perhaps not being of that much help to you.

not saying ur wrong but I believe the rating is for the car not just the engine. i wanna know the rear hp and TORQUE for the l98. thanks again
