zero decking? height?
what shoul i have the my machinist set the deck height at im runnng kb pistons flat top -7cc
fel pro 1003 head gasket .041
im thinking .002-.003
any sugestions

remember to allow room for carbon build up. a rich running motor at idle will add a lot. does not show up right away. also loose pistons rock in the bore. a weekend race motor no problem. a low speed street cruiser = knocky motor.

you can keep pistons alittle in the hole, but zero decked would be best for the motor since .041 is a good quench height to have.
